I started working with yarn at the ripe age of about 8 yrs old, my paternal grandmother taught me to crochet bless her heart I am sure she was just doing it to keep my hands busy 🙂 after working in a local hospital in my small hometown for 23 yrs then leaving that to moving to a new state and starting my own business doing about everything imaginable including a medical staffing agency, a diagnostic imaging business to a dive shop in the Philippines all while going back to school for my master’s degree in psychology, right after all this we decided to start a family and I became a full-time mom for the first time trying this, so this is where I am landing now. Yeah, it seems like a crazy life ride but this is a passion that I have come to grips with. I just in the past 10 years taught myself to knit and now I think I actually prefer knitting but I still enjoy both.
